LONDON CLUBS BECOME CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE

Centaurs women’s 1st team and Spencer men’s 1st team have become European Club Champions after a triumphant weekend at the annual Ken Galluccio Cup. Having won the National Club Championship in England earlier this year, the teams headed out to Prague to compete against other european club teams.

Spencer men were up against teams from Norway, Italy, Netherlands, and Poland, and Centaurs took on teams from Edinburgh, Germany, Switzerland, and Czechia.

After two days of group play, Spencer and Centaurs both entered Sunday’s Championship games unbeaten, and each went on to win their respective finals.

This marks Spencer men’s third win at the Ken Galluccio Cup - their last being in 2022 - and Centaurs’ second win having lifted the trophy in 2019.
