A BIG STEP FOR IRELAND LACROSSE

In June this year, Ireland Lacrosse announced that they had been voted in as a full member of the Olympic Federation of Ireland (OFI). This huge step was approved at the OFI’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), granting full membership to Ireland based on lacrosse’s recent inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. The inclusion will provide the sport and its athletes with greater recognition ahead of the Games, and opportunities within the wider Irish sporting community.
